We are certified as a Level II Trauma Center by the American College of Surgeons’ Committee on Trauma. Our skilled doctors, nurses and support staff provide life-saving intensive and critical care.

The Level II Trauma Center designation means the hospital meets the highest requirements of care including:

• 24-hour immediate coverage by general surgeons, as well as coverage by the specialties of orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, anesthesiology, emergency medicine, radiology and critical care
• Continuing staff education programs on trauma prevention

For example, we perform among the top hospitals in the country for the time it takes in an emergency for a patient to go from the ER to the catheterization lab to open a blocked artery.
