Jaye C. Howes is a nurse practitioner with more than 20 years’ experience in cardiology. She received her Master of Science in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner certification from Western Connecticut State University in Danbury and is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Jaye has been practicing as a Nurse Practitioner since 1998. She spent 8 years at the office of Cardiology Associates of Waterbury, prior to working in the Cardiovascular Unit at Waterbury Hospital caring for the post-op open heart and post coronary artery intervention (Angioplasty and stenting) patient populations. Her love of cardiovascular medicine began while managing the Telemetry Unit at Waterbury Hospital prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner.
Jaye is a member of the CT Advanced Practice Nurse Society, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), and the American College of Cardiology.
