President Of Access Rehab Centers Receives Highest Honor In His Field
Brian Emerick receives award for outstanding contributions in his field

WATERBURY, May 12, 2016 ― Brian Emerick, president of Access Rehab Centers, a physical rehabilitation partnership between Waterbury Hospital and Easter Seals Greater Waterbury, was awarded the George G. Olson Award by the National Association of Rehab Providers and Agencies (NARA) for outstanding contributions to NARA and the field of rehabilitation.

This award is named for the influential Capitol Hill lawyer, lobbyist and legislative advocate who has been the guiding light for NARA since its inception.

NARA is the organization which represents the business needs of rehabilitation providers on Capitol Hill in the rapidly changing world of federal legislation on healthcare.  NARA’s equally critical mission is to promote the sharing of knowledge among the leading rehabilitation providers that make up its membership.

During the last four years, Access Rehab Centers has been singled out as the recipient of two NARA awards for innovative excellence. A trained therapist, Emerick is the long serving president of the organization.
